Day 1 - Part 2
After the chocolate factory, our next stop was Devonport...the main port for Northern Tasmania, and home of the only car ferry service between the mainland and Tasmania. We had a quick stop here - I photographed the "Spirit of Tasmania"
and everyone else sent sms messages to Chris, which seemed to vastly amuse them:)
After that little interlude we continued onto Penguin.
Penguin is a tiny town on Bass Strait.. very very cute and scenic. It was nearly dark by this time, but we could see enough to see the lovely views up the coastline and out to Bass Strait,
... and the local attractions..the Penguin rubbish bins
, the Big Penguin
and The Groovy Penguin.
