Sydney Christmas..Part 2

continues at Martin Place, where I met Barry and we had takeaway noodles sitting on the steps of the old GPO building, while we enjoyed the Salvos Christmas Carols.

I did feel disappointed for the Sally's. They had only a couple of handfuls of people to watch them and they put on such a lovely show. It seems a shame that the hype and glitz of the televised Domain version attracts tens of thousands, and the freebie Sally's Christmas carols could only attract maybe a hundred at best. Still they didn't seem to mind.

After the Sally's we made our way back up Pitt Street Mall,

past DJ's windows again

through Hyde Park, with it's Christmas tree and a couple of Santa girls.. Yes, this is Hyde Park Sydney, not Harajuku. I think they add flavour and colour and multiculturalism to our Christmas:).

and to the car park at St Mary's, where this delightful gorgeous surprise in the form of St Mary's light show waited . It was a perfect end to the evening.
