Harbour Bridge 75th Birthday bash
Nautical Adventures Part 2
The Harbour Bridge had a birthday party last weekend. 250,000 people walked across it to celebrate - not us though. We celebrated in a much more leisurely style sipping champagne on board the Harman as part of the procession of boats. Our captain took his role very seriously and had her quite tarted out in heaps of bunting.We did look very gay. Afterwards we had brekky in Pyrmont and walked around Darling Harbour to Tumbalong Park to collect the free seeds they were giving out- little packs of bottle brush seeds to mark the occasion. The Bananas in Pyjamas were playing while we were there- quite a charismatic duo really !!!! I liked them anyway!! hehehe
