Victor Harbor - Part 2

Whale fountain..park in Victor - Victor is famous for whale spottings -they live around abouts - in the Southern ocean.

After our morning walk,we picked up Ben and Heather and took off for the Normanville pub for lunch. - (Victor Harbor is a decent sized coastal town south of Adelaide on the Fleurieu peninsula, mainly populated by retirees and fisherman - Normanville is a tiny - blink - and you'll- miss - it town about half an hour away. The pub there serves great fish and chips (apparently..- I actually had the duck sausages on mash with gravy --delicious!!)Along the way, we passed through beautiful rolling green hills dotted with healthy, glossy contented looking animals.

Bull.

Alpaca

Dear little horse who thought i had something for him.

After lunch, we returned to Victor, dropped off B & H and scurried back out along the jetty to see the penguins in the penguin hospital getting a feed.

By the time we had trekked back along the jetty, it was time for a quick coffe with Ben and Heather, and then off through the beautiful countryside once more -about an hour's drive to Hahndorf.
