Cradle Mountain - Day 2 - SNOW!!!!

We woke on Day 2 to snow on the ground...so exciting!!:).

We set off early on our 10 km bushwalk around Dove Lake, below Cradle mountain...We had the place to ourselves, it being very cold, sleeting, snowing and bitter. It truly was a wilderness adventure with the pristine virgin snow lying on the ground which made walking slippery and a little treacherous...we felt like true wilderness adventurers,battling the elements!!







After all that snow and physical exertion, we retreated to the log fires and wine tastings in the lodge.-- a perfect end to a wonderful day.
