Open Air Cinema -2012

It's become an institution and tradition for us to attend Open Air Cinema @ Lady Macquarie's Chair. The views are unparalleled in the world ( Yes I know it's a big call and very biased!), and it's an exciting summer activity. We have dinner and and a bottle of wine while we look at the view, then settle in our chairs with our white billowy ponchos to watch the movie. Tickets have become so popular unless you can get on in the first half hour of sales, then you will be left with the dregs.

This year we were left with a charming little French number - "Goodbye First Love". Was very pleasant and wonderful to see Paris and the gorgeous French countryside, but plot-wise not a lot happened except a lot of walking about soulfully and looking at stuff from the gorgeous young protagonist. The soundtrack was cute though - i enjoyed it..so all in all a pleasant little film - 3/5:-) (Must have a look and see if M&D have reviewed it.

Nice pics!!

M&D haven't reviewed yet, but maybe they will if they do a French Film Festival special this year. Don't think Heir Stratton will like it very much.
